P2P focus is positive social intervention for young people some of which may engage in anti-social behaviour fall into trouble with the police, resettling post prison or be vulnerable new tendency holders. In practise this means we provide social development activities and training, group and 1-2-1 mentoring, for young people 12 – 25 referred to us by Housing Management, Local Services e.g. Youth Services, Youth Offending Teams, Probation, Social Services and various other agencies. Parents and young people can also self-refer via P2P’s Drop-In Services. Additionally; we also accept suitable direct referrals from local Secondary Schools and Pupil Referral Units. All Service Users engagement and progress is monitored using a Case Management System.
P2P offers an open access and targeted service to meet the needs of a young person (at-risk) with a keen focus on the youth who have fallen through the cracks or struggling to engage with mainstream services (high-risk).
